Sara Corona, MS, ATR-BC, LCAT 

Sara is a Board Certified and Licensed Art Therapist who specializes in providing individual and group Art Therapy to children and adults with varying developmental disabilities including those on the autism spectrum. She also has experience working with people with various other disabilities including Multiple Sclerosis, Traumatic Brain Injury, and dementia. Sara enjoys using the unique approaches of Art Therapy to help people overcome the various life challenges they face. Sara completed her BFA in Illustration and Graphic Design at Cazenovia College and her MS in Art Therapy at Nazareth College.


Melinda C. Kurowski, MA, MT-BC

Melinda is a board-certified music therapist at Heritage Christian Services who has been working in the field since 2006. Melinda’s approach as a person-centered music therapist enables her to tailor the therapy experience to meet the unique needs of a wide variety of populations. In her current position she provides services for adults and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities as well as for individuals diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, and traumatic brain injury. She holds a Master of Arts in Music Therapy from Saint-Mary-of-the-Woods College in Indiana and Bachelors of Music in Music Therapy from Nazareth College of Rochester. Through her own strong relationship with music, Melinda believes in its power to impact people deeply and bring about positive changes in strengthening connections with others, encouraging wellness, and enhancing self-awareness. She loves being able to share this passion with others through her work.

 
Noelle Pacer, OTR/L

Noelle has worked at Heritage Christian Services since 2008. Before coming to HCS she had over 25 years of experience as an occupational therapist working in the fields of early intervention and in school-based therapy. She brings her love for coaching people to maximize their independence by teaching at DiscoverYOU. She offers handwriting tutoring and a class which focuses on improving hand function at the Pieters Family Life Center. She also provides evaluations and trainings at HCS sites.


  Vicki Reina, MA

Vicki Reina, M.A. has worked at Heritage Christian Services for 20 years, starting out as a direct care staff and trying a variety of different management and support positions until finding her passion in behavior support. Vicki is the Director of Behavior Services and has been a behavior specialist for 14 years. She has experience in leading groups on grief, teaching coping skills, teaching social skills, as well as extensive experience with teaching staff strategies to enhance their lives and the lives of others.


Shannon Seddon, MA, BC-DMT, LCAT

Shannon is a Dance Movement Therapist at Heritage Christian Services where she specializes in working with adults and children with developmental and intellectual disabilities as well as Autism Spectrum Disorder. Other experience includes providing Dance Movement Therapy (DMT) for those diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis and traumatic brain injury. Working individually and in groups, she works with a person centered approach recognizing the unique needs of each individual. Shannon is passionate about the benefits of dance and enjoys seeing how this modality helps people cope with life’s challenges. Shannon received her master’s degree in Dance Movement Therapy and Counseling from Antioch University, New England and received her bachelor’s degree in Performing Arts from Wells College.


Jessie Walker

Jesse has supported individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities since 2000 – joining the Heritage Christian Services team in 2003. She started as a direct care staff and held multiple leadership roles within traditional residential services (including 8 years as a Residence Manager) before joining the HCS IT team in July 2014. Jessie has a BA in Psychology from the University of Iowa and a passion for how technology can best support the human services field.
