  Ginger Anderson, RN. Ed.
Ginger Anderson has worked for Heritage Christian Services since 1989, starting as a direct support staff and also holding various positions in the residential program including management. She spent several years as a recruiter before finally completing her dream of becoming a registered nurse, a position she has held since 2009. Ginger brings her passion for teaching and empowering others to DiscoverYOU.


Joe Borelli
Joe has supported individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities since 2003. Joe started as a direct care staff and has held many leadership roles the past 13 years. Currently, being a Residential Manager at Heritage Christian Services. Joe brings a lot of energy and passion for teaching and assisting people with getting the most out of their lives.

 
Maria Rosa Capozzolo, MA, CCC-SLP

Maria Rosa has been a Speech Pathologist at Heritage Christian Services for 10 years. In addition to traditional speech therapy and swallow evaluations she collaborates with several therapists to offer community programs. Programs offered include: a social skills class through DiscoverYOU, ballroom dance lessons for individuals with Parkinson’s, sign language courses, and dysphagia and communication courses for individuals with MS and Alzheimer’s. Most recently, her focus has shifted to assisting with the setup and use of iPads. She enjoys supporting individuals at Heritage sites in using their iPads as a communication tool. She has also worked with the Employment Alliance to implement technology use that promotes independence in the workplace.


  Stephanie Prunoske, MS. Ed.

Stephanie Prunoske, MS. Ed. has worked with individuals with Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities for over 20 years, most notably as a Behavior Intervention Specialist at Heritage Christian Services since 2001. She has supported individuals with varying levels of ability at residential and day program sites. Stephanie has many years of teaching experience and curriculum writing with training programs within Heritage and more recently with another DiscoverYOU course – Keep Calm and Carry On.


Ginger Guyer

Ginger has worked at Heritage Christian Services since 1994. She started as a Direct Support staff and then served as the Residence Manager at two separate homes. Ginger also worked as a Residential Associate Director for over 10 years and recently became the Associate Director of Customized Supports specializing primarily in self direction. She has a passion for the people that she supports as well as the work force at HCS.



Barb Cacia

Barb is a certified personal trainer and health and wellness educator specializing in chronic health conditions. Teaching and guiding people how to navigate their life in a healthy way is a passion of Barb's. Her philosophy is "Wellness is a journey that looks at the whole person, not just the health condition." Barb coordinates HeathyYOU, an employee wellness program for Heritage Christian Services and facilitates a variety of group and individualized wellness programs for the Pieters Family Life Center. Her high energy and positive attitude is contagious!


Sarah Reddy

Sarah Reddy is a Day Habilitation Educator who has a B.S. in Special Education and has been with Heritage Christian Services for 14 years. She develops an energetic learning environment, promotes life-long learning and encourages personal potential in each of her students.


Jessie Walker, QIDP

Jesse has supported individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities since 2000 – joining the Heritage Christian Services team in 2003. She started as a direct care staff and held multiple leadership roles within traditional residential services (including 8 years as a Residence Manager) before joining the HCS IT team in July 2014. Jessie has a BA in Psychology from the University of Iowa and a passion for how technology can best support the human services field.


Stephanie Hawkins, M.A CCC-SLP/L

Stephanie began her career in the schools, providing speech/language therapy to children in grades K-6. She came to Heritage Christian Services in 2005 and has found her niche working with adults with developmental disabilities. Stephanie is especially passionate about sign language, adaptive technology for communication, and teaching. She has taught a sign language class for Heritage employees and the community, as well as classes on dysphagia (swallowing disorders), communication, and using the iPad for Alternative/Augmentative Communication.
